Feminist Foreign Policy

ESSAY QUESTION: What does a feminist foreign policy add to a country’s foreign policy? 2000 Words

This is an evaluative question. The prompt expects a discussion of feminist foreign policy and an evaluation of what it contributes to a country’s foreign policy. I will accept answers that concentrate on one country and answers that concentrate on more than one country. You will need to explain your decision in an academic manner. You will need to think about the payoffs between having a narrowly focused discussion on one country or a more general comparison between two or more countries. By ‘add’, I mean what does it contribute? How you will evaluate feminist foreign policy’s contribution is an open question that you will need to decide. I suppose the one obvious approach is to think about whether it adds anything or whether it is mere rhetoric.
