Locate the following on it
The Limpopo River
the Shashe River
the intersection of the two
Draw the settlement at Mapungubwe at its height on the map
represented by the following
Mapungubwe Hill
and on it where the various classes would be
Represent both the secular and spiritual basis of the ruler of Mapbungubwe’s power
give an idea of what the land was like

Second panel: Trade
On another map
follow the Limpopo to the sea
find, draw, or otherwise represent and in and label the items used for trade
draw line to the places that the people of Mapungubwe traded with through the port on the coast

Third panel: Collapse
On s third map
Explain in pictures what brought about the fall of Mapungubwe

Fourth panel: Significance
find, draw or somehow obtain
a picture of the golden rhino
and explain its significance for Southern Africa.
