Healthcare has a significant impact on our lives. Yet quality health care remains an elusive concept for many across the globe. As you have learned this week there are many challenges, with some ideas of viable solutions, that can alleviate some of our most pressing problems. This week you will have an opportunity to objectively identify the major issues and concerns.

INSTRUCTIONS
In this assignment, you will have an opportunity to objectively evaluate one problem in the healthcare system. While we all have our own experiences and personal opinions, as professionals, it is important that we evaluate objective data/evidence/information that considers all aspects of an issue. Your evaluation should reflect an unbiased perspective that seeks to comprehensively evaluate a problem. Your written communication should reflect scholarly expertise appropriate for upper division collegial work to include critical analysis, application of information, correct use of terms, and grammar/spelling. Please select one specific problem to address the required content outline

Content Outline

1. Introductory Paragraph
2. Identify and explain one challenge your health care system currently faces.
3. Identify the population that is affected by the challenge. Explain how the challenges adversely affects them. Use objective evidence.
4. Identify at least 2 solutions you would propose to mitigate the challenge. Give evidence based rationale for your solution.
5. Explain your biblical perspective in response to the problem.
6. Conclusion – Summarize the paper in 5-8 sentences.

Assignment Instructions

Please write a 4-page paper fully addressing the prompt and content outline. Your written communication should reflect a thorough understanding of the topic and scholarly expertise appropriate for upper-division collegial work and include critical analysis, application of information, correct use of terms, and grammar/spelling. Please include these elements:

1. APA style formatting is required, including but not limited to the title page, abstract, headings, etc. See LUO resources for formatting and citation style required for all doctoral students.
2. Objective data, evidence must be used to address the issue. Generalized statements are not acceptable.
3. A minimum of 8-10 peer reviewed references, published in the last five years, are required. (Wikis, blogs, internet website sources should not be used as these are not considered academic references.)
4. Biblical worldview with support with scripture references. Cite the Scripture and apply the scripture references to the prompt.
5. Essay should be 4 pages, not including title and reference pages.
