For this discussion board assignment, students have the option to write about one of the two topics. Students will choose one of the below topics and follow the instructions for that topic.
Topic Choice 1: This assessment targets ELO 400-SMC-1013.15 (O115: Military Decision Making Process (MDMP)).
Assignment Instructions: Post a substantial initial response, with at least 1 cited source and a minimum of 350 words, to the topic below. Identify references following the post using APA format. Additionally, respond to at least two posts of your classmates, with at least one cited source each and a minimum of 150 words per response, for full participation credit. Topic of Discussion: Analyze the concepts and theories you read about in O115; utilizing key terms from those concepts and theories discuss and explain the processes and tasks required for a staff to conduct course of action development and how you envision facilitating this process as an Operations Sergeants Major.
