Autobiography Instructions
Overview:
The purpose of this assignment is to reflect on significant life experiences and connect these experiences to course concepts, psychological theory(ies), and scholarly research. You may choose those life experiences that are meaningful to you or have had a significant impact in shaping your life. You may choose to write about deeply personal life events, but are by no means required or expected to do so. You will not be graded based on your level of disclosure, but rather how well you “weave” theory and research into your story.
Specific requirements:
- 5-7 pages (body of paper, not including title and reference pages), doubled- spaced, 12-point Times New Roman.
- APA-format (see D2L content page for instructions on APA)
- APA-formatted title page
- APA-formatted reference page.
- The inclusion of 3 scholarly sources that somehow tie into your autobiography
- The inclusion of 3 course concepts or psychological theories that may lend insight into those experiences.
- Include a digital photo (and insert this picture into your paper) that is important to your or in some way symbolic in your life
- Well-written: clear, organized, and free of grammatical and spelling errors.
