M2A2 Final Paper Milestone: Paper Topic and Abstract

This activity will address module outcomes 1. Upon completion of this activity, you will be able to:

• Discuss leadership issues in an increasingly complex, changing, and challenging environment. (CO 4, 5, 6)

This milestone assignment will help you to prepare for the 12-15 page Research Paper due in Module 7. You will also be required to submit a final audio presentation on your paper during Module 8.

For this milestone assignment, please submit your paper topic and a brief abstract describing what your paper will be about.

Some tips about writing an abstract:

• Your abstract should communicate the purpose, method, and scope of your report.
  • You are basically summarizing the contents of your final report.
  • You may include results and conclusion in an abstract also, but for this assignment it is not necessary.
  • Plan on writing one or two paragraphs and highlight the most essential points of your final document.

Your abstract should be able to stand alone and it should follow proper syntax. (The chronology of the abstract should match that of the report.) Use the American Psychological Association (APA) style (most current edition) for writing your assignment.
